“The Field of Longing”
Reflection:
There is a sacred ache inside every soul — a quiet yearning to be held in the arms of Love without condition. I painted this field during a moment of remembering:
that my ache to be loved was never a weakness, but a doorway. The flowers rose from the ache like prayers, each one a whisper to the Divine, “Will you still love me here?”
And the sky responded with color,
“Always.”
Blessing:
To the one who aches —
May you know your longing is holy.
May you remember that Love has never left you.
And may this field remind you:
You were always worth blooming for.

“The Sunflower’s Prayer”
Reflection:
In this painting, a single sunflower rises from the meadow, holding its face toward the horizon where day and night meet in holy embrace. Behind it, the trees form a quiet cathedral, their shadows framing the brilliance of the sky. The heavens glow in shifting hues—indigo dissolving into violet, violet into rose, rose into a golden flame—as if the whole universe were whispering a benediction over the earth.
The sunflower, though small compared to the vast sky, radiates with its own light. It does not compete with the sunset but joins it—rooted, grounded, and offering its steady presence to the unfolding beauty. It is the prayer of creation embodied: to turn toward the Light no matter the darkness, to shine even when surrounded by shadow, to bloom as a living Amen.Blessing:
